What you'll learn

Bike setup including saddle position, handlebar set up, tyre pressure and how to avoid punctures

Seated pedalling, standing up pedalling and changing gears efficiently and correctly

Trail etiquette so you feel at home on the trails and with other riders

Minor trail-side repairs including taking the rear wheel off, quick releases and puncture repair

Basic body position for balance, safety and stability

Rolling drops and dealing with steep sections of trail

What the different brakes do and when to use them

How to corner including line choice, body position, braking and where to ride on the trail for safety, balance and confidence

Basic maintenance of your bike
